Ziet gij aan wat voor ogen is? Indien iemand bij zichzelven betrouwt, dat hij van Christus is, die denke dit wederom uit zichzelven, dat gelijkerwijs hij van Christus is, alzo ook wij van Christus zijn.

Kijkt u alleen naar het uiterlijk? Als iemand er voor zichzelf van overtuigd is dat hij van Christus is, laat hij dan ook dit bij zichzelf bedenken: dat zoals hij zelf van Christus is, zo ook wij van Christus zijn.
